July 23 2007. Take Off

Today I am leaving for Europe. Easily said- I can still hardly believe it myself! I am going to be traveling all around Europe for 13 days with an amazing group of other field marketing interns like myself. We will be arriving in Paris tomorrow (crazy time difference). I can't wait to soak it all up! Paris- I've seen so many pictures, it will be crazy to be there in person! Ahh and the tour continues with Lucerne, Switzerland... It is the capital city and should be fabulous. Then we move on the Florence and Venice for three days. Florence was first settled by Julius Caesar and his army. Sounds like a play out of I don't know... a play or something. But I am especially excited to see these places, having grown up is such an Italian family! I have heard soooo many things about these places that they have always seemed like distant magical places that only exist in fairy tales. I am especially exited to see the David and go on a gondola ride! :-D After Venice we wil be moving on to Austria (Tyrol) which i have heard has beautiful landscapes. AND we are going white water rafting in the Alps! Oh man it doesn't sound quite real yet. Then we continue our journey to Munich the home of Oktoberfest and capital city of Germany! A friend of mine has just recently been there and told me many good things about it. Beer is EVERYWHERE, for one. And to look out for the cute mini cars they drive. Then we will conclude our trip in the Golden City of Prague in the Czech Republic! A place I honestly don't know to much about, except that it is known as one of the most beautiful cities is all of Europe! (Wiki it! I swear!) And I am just sitting here about to leave for Liz's house and then on to Logan airport for the trip of my life and suddenly I have butterflies. I couldn't be more anxious, excited, and just amazed! Can't wait to breathe it in. A friend told me to find evidence of my trip- make it real! I can't wait to do so!
